Loctite 480 is a black, low viscosity, rubber toughened instant adhesive designed for close fitting parts. It has excellent peel, impact and sheer strengths and has a fixture time of approx 90 sec. Suitable for metal, elastomers and plastics. LOCTITE 480 is an instant adhesive designed for the assembly of difficult-to-bond materials which require uniform stress distribution and high tensile and/or shear strength. It is a rubber-reinforced adhesive offering increased flexibility and peel strength along with enhanced shock resistance. The product provides rapid bonding for a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics and rubbers. LOCTITE 480 exhibits good resistance in humid environments.

A white, 1-part pipe sealant that provides an instant seal for air pressure testing. 565 PST® was successfully tested for pressure resistance and sealability to 207 bar (3000 psi). 3/8 inch NPT steel pipe tees and plugs were assembled and pre-torqued to 27 N·m and allowed to cure for 24 hours prior to testing at 3000 psi hydraulic pressure according to ASTM D 1599.
